  If you ask yourself this question, it is because there is someone you appreciate who must be having a bad time, but you are afraid of how they will react if you recommend that they seek professional help. Do not fear, you can propose it, if you have a bond of trust in a moment of intimacy, but do not insist, if the other party is not receptive. More than good or bad, you have to see if it is pertinent or adequate: to whom you say it, how you say it and when you say it. Evaluate the context, the relationship of trust that you maintain with that person, the way you think about it (tell him what he would earn) and the moment you choose to propose it to him (without haste, without spectators) The key is that you do it out of respect and trust, pointing out the benefits it could bring them. What doesn't make sense is that you insist or pressure him to go, even if you do it with good intention. Do not make a surprise appointment against his will or manipulate him to go. You can explain that counseling is an act of intelligence by those who become aware that they lack resources, knowledge or ideas.
